Sand Dune Woven Chelsea
Osborn
These unique chelsea boots were crafted with natural handwoven cotton. The color is a result of the cotton, there is no dye involved. After the cotton is made into yarn, it is handwoven into an eclectic geometric weave. Tres chic and unlike any other pair of shoes or boots currently in your wardrobe. Natural leather soles.
Please take care of your leather-soled shoes and avoid wearing in inclement weather. Prior to wearing your shoes you may bring them to a shoe repair shop to have them weatherproofed, or simply have them resoled once the soles wear down.

Osborn - Aaron and Carla Osborn
The spirit and rich traditions of the Guatemalan people had a profound effect on founder Aaron Osborn during his post-college (RISD) stint as an art teacher in the country. Aaron and his wife Carla (an equally talented artist and designer) collaborate with teams of traditional weavers, embroiderers, spinners, block printers and dyers in the handcrafting of custom textiles. They also create in-house prints and patterns produced with low-impact dyes.
The Guatemalan's rich weaving traditions and outstanding work ethic is the beating heart of Osborn's production process, and their mission is rooted in providing steady work to this community of skilled craftsmen. From sourcing raw materials, to using "clean water conscious" production methods, to their worker's health and families, Osborn is consistently finding new ways to ethically make products while using materials and processes that are eco-conscious.
Process & Materials
Awarded by GenArt as a selected brand for Fresh Faces in Fashion, Osborn is proud to be one of the very few footwear brands delivering small-batch, direct trade footwear that ties the world of weaving, eco-materials, and socially conscious production into a thoughtful one-of-a-kind collectible.
Osborn collaborates with teams of traditional weavers, embroiderers, spinners, block printers and dyers in the handcrafting of custom textiles. They also create in-house prints and patterns produced with low-impact dyes. These textiles serve as their centerpiece. By working to produce their own specialty artisan weavings and prints, through channels of sustainable production methods, the design duo has created more than a craft footwear brand; they seek to influence the consciousness of what lies behind the products we buy.
